Porsche Logo on PCM Nav screen. Why doesn't it show?
 

Hi,

I have a 2011 Cayenne S, and when I turn the car on, normally a Porsche Logo (shield/crest) with he words Porsche on a white background appear when I start the car.

My thoughts were then, ok it only does it if the car has been off for 24 hours. However, now it doesn't show up at all.

Does anyone else notice this or have this issue? My 2008 Cayenne had the logo appear not he Nav screen every time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Mine ('13 CD) seems to alternate at random times between the Porsche crest and the Cayenne logo.

I haven't paid enough attention to determine the pattern of why it does one over the other. I'm not positive, but I think I get the Porsche logo when I manually power it off and back on (I don't do that frequently so I'm not positive). If that is indeed true then I would guess that the Porsche logo comes up when it has to do a full boot which could happen due to a fault or maybe going into a "deep sleep" mode after the car sits long enough.
