2013 GTS: Sport Chrono and Sport Plus Mode

Hi, I visited a local dealer who has a CPO GTS from 2013. During the conversation, the sales person mentioned that even though not listed on the original sticker, all GTS comes with standard Sport Chrono option. I then asked about Sport Plus mode as I noticed there is no such button on the center console, unlike my 997.2 with SC which has the Sport Chrono package and Sport Plus button. He said during normal mode, it's already in equivalent Sport mode, and the Sport button pushes it to Sport Plus mode. I'm not sure if he's right as he also said a few things that wasn't consistent with what I knew. Is he right that all GTS has SC package standard? I've seen other used car's sticker before noticed some car has a $270 SC option listed.

Speaking of Sport button, does the sport exhaust get activated only when the Sport button is pushed?

What else does 2013 GTS come standard with?

Thanks for the help.

There is only a Sport mode. In the 2013's the Sport button is linked to the exhaust valves. Theres an easy fix to keep them open all the time tho, the thread is somewhere under this one..

My usual start up sequence is - Ignition On - Sport activated - Auto Start/stop off - PASM in Normal - Ride height Low 1

Thats my daily routine.. I think from 2014 they all come with the SC as standard, but in 2013 it was an option, not sure tho..

I cant comment on the standard equipment as in the US you guys had different packages, while for us in the Middle East, there were no packages, everything was a stand alone option.

My GTS has sport plus mode. In the US its standard. The sport exhaust can manually be turned on and off in any mode. I have 40k on my car and it still puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. I use it as my daily driver except in the Chicago winter time. I do not track my car , but I love driving it from Chicago to Asheville especially in the hills. it is not the fastest car, but it still fells sporty enough for me especially if you need a 4 door.

I would recommend investing in getting the suspension upgraded as an option.

Thanks for the feedback. I did end up picking up a 2013 GTS (I'm in US too, Los Angeles) but I don't think it has Sport Plus as standard feature. It does have a Sport button but not a separate Sport Plus button like my old 997.2 with Sports Chrono.

I suspect k2man has a Panamera GTS which does indeed come with a Sports Plus mode.

Only in the 2015+ Cayenne's (V6 TT & V8TT) is there a Sports Plus mode.

2014's and under do not have any Sports Plus mode, optional or standard.
