My base VR6 2017 with 40k kms suffers terribly from this. It’s under the original warranty and the dealer had is for 10 days trying to remedy the problem with PCNA input. I mentioned the down pipes may be the cause. PCNA instructed some adjustments and to change out some brackets and clamps, none of which worked. My dealer requested authorization to change the exhaust system but PCNA did not approve and finally concluded that the vibration is inherent in the design of the VR6 exhaust combination.

I can’t believe that they would take the position that one of their vehicles is supposed to be so unrefined. It’s actually embarrassing when I have passengers in the car with the rumbling felt throughout the body.

The service manager indicated that he has dealt with a large number of base Cayennes for this issue, and has never been able to fully fix it.
