2016 Turbo vs 2017 GTS
All options being equal, close to same miles, and the price being equal. Which would you choose?
I currently have a 2013 S, and looking to upgrade. Thanks for all the input. I can't decide. lol |
My decision would be based on looks alone as I think both are plenty fast, especialy for an SUV. I just love the way the GTS looks. I believe you can (or used to be able to) get the turbo with pretty much the GTS body work, so my opinion may be a wash. Having the extra year of warranty on the GTS would be nice.

'17 will have the newer generation PCM, fwiw. jab23's comments are spot-on.

That is the debate in my head. Newer vehicle and longer warranty. However, I always like to get as close as I can to the top of the line. My wife will be driving it 75% of the time, so the extra performance isn't a huge factor, but it is nice to have when I am driving. lol

I recently shopped a 2017 Turbo and 2017 GTS. Drove the Turbo first and thought it was an excellent vehicle and would be the one. Drove the GTS and I was thouroghly impressed. While down on power compared to the Turbo it felt more connected to the road. I ended up with the GTS.

If the cars are THAT equal, check with your insurance company. There may be quite a swing between the two models that may tip it one way or the other...

I bought a RaceChip GTS for my 2017 GTS. So easy to install, and made it faster than the turbo.
