Picked up turbo S yesterday.
I am thrilled with the car. The Black/Cream int is stunning especially with the extra leather and deviated stich ordered. PCM in Cream is very nice and white gauges are super
Performance. took it out on the highway for a spirited drive. Keeping it under 4500 RPM but obvious very strong car. In Sport Plus the mapping is very prevelant with quicker shifts. AND the sport exhaust....WOW no need for fabspeed bypass. It rumbles on start and load and spits and pops on downshifts.
The CCB's are even grabbier than on my 2014 even though I'm bedding them.
What a vehicle.

Raklaw,

I know that you are still babying the car at the moment but when you get a chance could you floor the vehicle on the highway and let me know what boost pressure is reached? You shouldn't need to go higher than 4500rpm to see what the peak boost pressure reached is . Just setup the multifunction gauge to display boost pressure to make viewing easier.

Thanks,

Jeff

Well I think I'll wait a while on that.
Having broken multiple hi po autos, this is not something that I recommend

While I can assure you that the simple test I requested would in no way damage your vehicle I can wait a while until after your break in miles are done! You are the only one I know so far that has a new 2016 Turbo S so I thought I would ask.

I am just trying to determine what the max boost pressure is now that Porsche increased the 2016 Turbo S to in order to get the extra 20HP and 37 FT/LBS increase.
