will these fit a 958.2 CTT? mixed answers
 

found some wheels i like but have a hard time finding the tires the dealer/wheel manufacturing is recommending.

Wheels are:
22"X10.5 ET50 5X130
22"X12 ET58 5X130

Recommended tires:
295/30/22
335/25/22

Called around and only matching tires are pirelli scorpion zero a BUT when I spoke to tirerack they are stating the difference from front to rear would mess up the AWD system and not to install it. Also called my local america tire and they are stating the LOAD weight won't work either.

Wheel dealer is stating they do this set up all the time and it will work fine...

thoughts? should i stay away or will it be fine?

I don't know what the stock wheel size on the 958 generation is, but if it's the same as on my 957 Turbo S it's a 21"x10" et50 with 295/35 tire.

I'm not sure how much clearance you have to the inside on the rear, but if that rear wheel were the same as the stock offset (et50) and 2" wider, that means it would be 1" further in and 1" further out, but with an et of 58 instead of 50 that will push the inner lip in another 8mm so you should measure your inner clearance very carefully to see if you have 33.4mm of available clearance especially with the suspension lowered all the way.

Also if my note on stock size is correct for your car, you can use a 315/30 and be very close (like within 1%) to the stock rolling circumference. There's also a big advantage to running a square setup so you can rotate tires front to back to even out the wear.

Not sure this is the best setup for you.

As Petza says, I believe my wheels are 295/35/21 on 21x10 et 50 for my 2014 958. I don't believe there is any difference between the 958.1 and 958.2 for rims. If you are going to run staggered (really only for looks, assuming that is the look you are going for) you just have to make sure that the circumference of the 2 different size of tires is the same or really, really close. Otherwise, you are going to develop problems with the differential. I would also just use google and you will find plenty more info on running a staggered setup on the Cayennes. However, as previously mentioned, this eliminates the ability to rotate your tires which will reduce the life of the tire and in the end cost more as our tires aren't cheap :mad:

thanks for the info guys. the wheels are used and were on a 958CTT so I don't think they will have any clearance issues.

the major concern is the circumference between the front and rear tires:
335/25/22
295/30/22

Tirerack said its about 4% and won't work but the dealer that is selling the wheels is stating thats the tire setup they've been using w/o issues.

Will 315/30 in the rear fit on a 12" wheel?

Sure will, in fact it's in the ideal width category for a 12" wide wheel if you look up online wheel width and tire size charts - 325s are not

Yup, that's the problem. I think that tire size was used on the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and on one of their forums, people were very happy with an Atturro brand tire, which is Korean made (yea, I know), They're DOT approved, and Speed, Load, Traction, and Temp ratings are all excellent. They look good, rubber feels good, and they're mounted up and ready to go once I get the car back, so I'm going to give them a shot. They're more of a performance tread design though, so if you need an all season, like a DWS, then probably not for you.

The only other tire I found in that size was a Vredstein Sessenta, which I would have gone with, but they discontinued that size a few years ago.
