Tune

Tune
I have a 958 CTT that I purchased with a prior tune (prior owner) from a Porsche dealer 3/4 years ago. I was never told of the tune, so I have no clue who did it. The tune often sucks and won't shift into 2nd on full throttle launches until it hits redline and stays there for a second or two. It happens more times then it doesn't. I want to go back to stock and buy a Softronic, but I have no way to get it back to stock. My mechanic friend at dealer can't do it either.... Is there a way to figure out who and what tune it's running?

It's very rare for a normal performance tune (Evo, Fabspeed, Softronic, etc) to have anything to do with the transmission shifting behavior. J's World in TX found a guy that was willing to tune the transmission behavior in the earlier generation Cayennes, but it was a totally separate process from engine tuning and not sure about the 958. He may only be on Rennlist now and not 6speed.
I'm afraid this is going to be quite a challenge if the behavior is actually caused by a tune and not the valve body or something else.

This would make a ton of sense on it being transmission. I can’t believe that never occurred to me.
