Mileage Tips and Experience: How to get the most Mileage!

Extend Coasting with E-power boost

Coasting with engine off is a very efficient way to increase mileage. The E-Engine can extend the coasting length many times over. Here is how to do it.
1. Use standard parallel hybrid mode to reach effective speed. usually works best 35-50 mph
2. When you see clear road ahead, take foot completely off gas to turn off engine
3. VERY lightly tap the gas to start the e-power engine
4. Closely monitor the e-power gauge to not exceed to much thrust. Dont go past the 12:00 position of the gauge.

The engine should maintain costing many many times longer than without e-boost. The result is excellent gas mileage.

i am regularly getting 29 mpg in the city. 1500 miles on ODO.
