Need Manufacturer's Certification for IRS for 2011 Cayenne S Hybrid
Hi All, I'm in a predicament. I purchased a 2011 Cayenne S Hybrid in December 2010. I claimed the tax credit and lucky for me the IRS picked me to audit. They are requesting for a "Manufacturer's Certification" and my attempts to get this document from Porsche North America left me with a letter from them and not the "Manufacturer's Certification". After speaking with an IRS agent, they said the letter was not enough and they still need the certification.
Did other members here had to go through this? Any assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Thanks for the info. I informed the IRS that it's on their site but they didn't care about my response and insisted on getting the certification from porsche, but porsche is unwilling to provide me a copy of the certification.
