Suncoast's shipping cost and duties to Canada
Hello, I am in Ontario Canada and am ordering a few light bulbs and a few Porsche Crest Sew-on Badge. The shipping cost is like $60 and $21 of duties and taxes while is value of the order is $57 and probably weights 1/2 lb.
Any suggestion on how to lower the shipping the duties for orders shipping to Canada? I would like purchase more in the future but the cost of shipping and duties doesn't make it attractive. 2 Front Side Marker Bulb

The shipping does seem extraordinarily high. As for the duty, As for the duty, I don't think Suncoast can simply "remove" the charge, since it is something that is collected by the Canadian government. The only way to minimize it is to have them say the order is "used" and the total dollar amount is less than $5 (maybe?). The insurance is really for your protection in case the item arrives damaged. Some places give you the option to opt out of that.

Only they can tell you why or change it. I ship to Canada at times and the shipping isn't much more (if any) than to N.Y. Call them as their web site may not be able to calculate the shipping properly. That occurs especially with small, lightweight orders.
