Help! 2012 Cayenne won't start

Ok, a bit strange but here's the sequence of events. My car was performing perfectly well and then I tried to program the garage door opener. Right after that, the car wouldn't start. It would crank, but not ignite. The instrument panel lit up, radio worked. I checked the fuses and found that the Rod Ignition Coils fuse was burnt. I replaced it and now the car won't even turn over and the instrument panel no longer lights up and the radio doesn't work. Lights, seat adjustment, hatch, locks all work so there is some power. Tried jumping the battery but that doesn't work. Battery charger shows battery at 100%. I'm at a loss as to what I can do next. Would love to avoid a tow and a huge dealership bill if it's indeed something easy to fix.

Any ideas????

That really could be anything. I hate to sound like a broken record but get the battery checked out first. Lots of reports of weak or low batteries causing all sorts of electrical issues with these cars. Seems some of the computers are really sensitive to what amounts to barely less than normal voltage.

Sorry, not enough information here. The garage door opener is most likely just a coincidence.

Have you ever lifted up the driver seat to expose the battery? If not, are you willing to try with a few tools? If the answer is yes, then I suggest getting a battery load tester and testing the battery.

If you do not feel comfortable, then it sounds like a job for a local indy or dealer.

But the OP tried jumping the battery without any luck. Could the problem still be the battery?

Yes, I've seen batteries that wouldn't even start the car with a jump. I'm not saying that's their problem, it's just the most likely and easiest place to start.

If starter cranks batery in common ok.
Check exact position of fuse you replaced.
And in any case coil fuse blow - it is not easy to find.
I suggest call workshop, as you have not special skill.
