My car is a 09. It was a straight swap. Nothing out of the ordinary. It requires basic skills, nothing more. For me the hardest thing is first to remove the bolt underneath that hold the steering wheel and then to line up the airbag wiring when you push the airbag into the new steering wheel. There is a small channel on the right hand side if I remember corre toy where you have to put the wires in there while you are pushing the steering wheel in.

    Hi,

When you did your PDK Paddle Steering wheel swap, was it just a simple removal/install procedure? Remove multifunction wheel, install paddle wheel, tape up/hide the extra multifunction connectors not needed with paddle wheel, and done?

    Thanks,
