Conversation Between G_A and Mita11

Hi,

I have checked your replies to PCM 3.1 unit installation. I need help for the following case. I have a defective PCM 3.1 unit. It is restarting in every 15 seconds showing the logo only. Do you have any experience or contact to help to repair this device? I am electrical engineer. I suspect the one of the firmware of the mother board fails. I would like to try to firmware upgrade the unit. Because of this resetting cycle PIWIS2 is not able to do the upgrade according to the porsche service. (I am not 100% sure they try it hard because they wanted to sell me a new one). I suspect should be other way to be able to do the firmware upgrade, like a key combination during the init period of the unit should bring up the service menu.
