When you say not fitting, what do you mean? Is it a stock GT3 rear decklid? Not sure exactly what parts you are trying to fit. You will a new harness that connects to the fan, but it shouldn't require any programming.

I recently bought myself 2006 911 c1 and doing some upgrades to it.
Have a question about a recent purchase I made to upgrade my stock lid to gt3. Fan and electrical are not fitting. What is my best option to complete my project? I Live in PDX and not sure if it will be safe driving without a lid fan. One other question, do I need to have my dealer reprogram current setting on engine lid? Let me know what you know about it?
