I am a Porsche enthusiast that lives in Raleigh, NC. I have been reading over your forum about the 997 Carerra S that you previously owned. I had the opportunity to drive it this week. I just wanted to check to see if you saw any redflags even though it was years ago that you owned it and for a short time at that. It looked like the main frustration that you had was the offset wheel and the dealer you purchased it from. It appears via the car fax that the owner after you had the 911 for 5 years. The odometer now reads 104,000. As you know from your experience any information helps when spending a lot on an older car! Feel free to text me if that's easier.
