Hi Chuck,

thanks for your help! I am not brokering the sale, and have no financial interest in the transaction- he has just asked me to inquire to people who know what they're talking about in the Porsche world (I'm the car guy in our group of friends but a BMW guy) so I figured I'd hop on the forums and ask around.

I can post in the appropriate classified section if posting the actual ad for him but I just need to gather as much info for him as possible before he does something half cocked or whatever (I could recognize his Porsche was rare and older) but I know very little other than that : /

Examples: is there a preference for collectors on the paint? if original and in bad shape, is it better to have resprayed or should he plan to sell in original condition? Are sunroof optioned models indeed more or less rare and does that translate in sales price in any way? etc.
