Sorry for late reply. I hope you got yours sorted out. Just in case, IMO your problem is the shift sensors inside your transmission. I have a DIY for that on this forum as well. Sensors were about 900 bucks, and about half day work to replace...Easy but timely.
Thats the default symptom. You put into drive, but car does not want to drive. Happens randomly, but more and more often over time. Good luck, hope you have this sorted out.

    Hello!

I've been looking through all your posts and am glad there's so much information for the Panamera. I just got one from an auction. It was damaged on the front driver's side. I had to replace both upper and lower control arms and the front air strut. Got everything working in terms of air suspension. But, now I'm having a different issue. Car starts up fine and engine sounds good. The shifter will shift through the different selections but it feels like the car isn't going into the gear. The car will not move forward or backwards. When I shift into manual the car shows it is stuck in 2nd gear and manual mode won't let me down shift back to 1st. I've been reading up and there are some recommendations to check battery connections (car came with battery unhooked from auction and I've just been leaving it loose while I work on the car). Others have suggested checking the transmission oil. I'm still at the beginning of my journey working on the car so I haven't done much.

    Thanks!
