Great stuff from Detailer's Domain

I was pretty intrigued by the Foamaster II foam wash gun that Phillip from DD used since I can never seem to keep lots of suds in my wash bucket.

I can say that the Foamaster has been the single best new detailing piece of equipment I have bought. Great suds, easy to use and clean, well constructed. I can completely cover the car with tons of sudsy carwash in minutes.

Plus, DD had the best price on the Foamaster foam wash gun.

Great product and great, prompt service from Phillip @ DD.

Got the same one from Phil. Great for covering the car and top notch service.
What car wash did you go with?

Einszett Perls or Menzerna

Curious question, how effective is the foam gun with a quality soap at removing dirt?

The rainy season is coming up and I hate it when I wash my car only to have it rain a couple days later leaving a layer of dirt. Would a blast with the foam gun and a rinse remove all the top layer dirt?

Low Pressure foam guns will not remove all the dirt by only rinsing. Low pressure foam guns must be used with a bucket and a wash mitt. For example, Rinse your car with water, then rinse with the foam gun (to loosen the dirt) This is the pre-soak, then you will rinse off the car again(releasing some dirt), now you will use the foam gun to 'shadow' your mitt while you wash your car. Making sure to keep a thick layer of foam between your mitt, and your finish.
This is the grea thing about the foam gun, you can take alot of dirt off, and decrease the chance of marring.

IMHO, both are not that great in the foam gun. They are very low suds, & just don't really have any cling on the car.

Use the Adams or some other high foam US car wash, all the Euro ones are very low foam, in the gun it's just not the "best"
