Black cars hard to clean?

Nope, don't think so, I would rather clean my black 993, then my Yellow Audi S4.

Before.....

Look at the rear fender, you can see all the swirl marks

After some Menzerna 106
Same area, after polish

Notice there is no rotary burn, & all the swirls are gone, yes there are some deeper scratches left, after all this is just a medium polish.

After 1z metallic polish & wax, with a Glantz wax topper

Of course it was raining when I took the shots, & then I drove 60mi on the FW in the rain the next day. Then this morning, I wanted it to look nice, to show off to a friend, & did a quick detail spray wash. YUP< got some swirl marks back, even though I know better....

Moral, if you don't have time to wash the car, leave it alone, or you just got to polish it again. This car is not fun due to the lack of flat surfaces, it's all curvy, & low, so it just kills my lower back.

Black cars not hard to clean, but they are sure hard to keep clean! I wouldn't trade my black on black 911C4 for any other color.

Great job on the detail!

Stealth 993 get yourself a mechanics small rolling stool to keep the pressure off your back. It works for me and it make the PC polishing treatment almost pain free. BTW your car looks great.

I have one, & use it regularly. It was just not really working on the Porsche, but it gets used on the other cars.
