Porsche 997 Turbo /Lapis Blue Exterior
I love working on 911’s! This was the first dark colored car I would do with the new Swissvax Crystal Rock. The customer wanted a full exterior detail with paint correction. The steps taken were a wash with Optimum Power Clean to strip off the wax/sealant anything on the car’s finish. Next was a nice claying and for the paint correction I used Menzerna SIP with a green pad finishing out with Menzerna PO85RD with a white pad. Finally I finished by applying Swissvax cleaner fluid to make sure the finish was clean and ready for Swissvax Crystal Rock. The Crystal Rock was very easy to apply and spread /waited about 15 minutes to remove. Removal was just as easy. The look well you can be the judge of that. Looks great!

Looks really good Phil. What did you think of Crystal Rock? I know that a lot of the Swissvax guys on DetailingWorld are raving about it, and of course Paul and Mark have said the same thing, but what was your honest review of it in contrast with something like Divine or Vintage?
That tail etching was really bad too...wow. |
J_Edwards love Crystal Rock!
It's actually looks like Divine but much easier to apply and remove. LMK if you need any. |
looks great!..... what wieght paper did you sand that etching with?
I have a bird drop etch on rear quarter that bugs me. I have not brought out the Flex, yellow and SIP yet to it. Will try that first. |
1500 grit.
we will start carrying 3m wet sanding paper soon. :D |
unbelievable, nice work philip!
