Detailer's Domain: Porsche 911 Turbo X50 Cab - what a mess

Look what happens when you loan out your 911 Turbo Cab (X50)

I get a call from Marc Faraj at Town Motors Porsche and he tells me he did something bad.....

I asked him what can be so bad?

He said: I loaned out my 911 Turbo Cab to a buddy.
I said: How bad he says you'll see......

When I received the car it was early morning the sun wasn't out yet, the next day when I was able to pull it out I couldn't believe my eyes! The car was shot!

Thanks! What did a job like this cost? ( est is fine ) I'm just curios. It is also why my car will never be loaned out!

Great work.

By the way, that "friend" is a complete ******.. Who would make that much of a mess of someone's car? Unbelievable!

Phil...beautiful job!

What made you choose Meguiars M105 instead of the standard PowerGloss + SIP + PO85RD combination? Just wondering how you decide.

detailersdomain Jan 25, 2010 04:19 PM

I believe this is the first post we have used with M105. however we have used it in other jobs before and its a good product as you can see.

this car needed cut so that's another reason we used it.

bbywu Jan 25, 2010 05:05 PM

So to clarify, you could jump from M105 directly to a finishing polish like PO85RD? I usually have to go PowerGloss then SIP, then PO85RD.

detailersdomain Jan 25, 2010 05:20 PM

are you using a rotary? if you are using a pc I would say stick to 3 steps.

bbywu Jan 25, 2010 05:24 PM

Flex orital. But I think I understand what you are saying in terms of cutting power.

Thanks.
