Metropolitan Detail Concourse Detail

Yup, it's a Datsun. It is getting shipped down to a concourse event, and will be judged with the white gloves, and graded out of 300 points. Although this car come to us fairly clean, a good amount of work was needed to get it looking perfect.

Underside of engine compartment was sanded and polished to nib out some dirts and create a flat reflective finish.

After a 3 stage polish and Trizact 3000 damp sand, the car is lifted up to clean the underside, brakes and suspension.

Wheels cleaned and sealed with Nanoskin Brake Dust.

Underside cleaned, and polished.

About 10 hours were spent detailing the engine bay, and here are a few sun shots after 3 coats of Vintage wax.

Enjoy, and thanks for looking.

John

Great work John. Those were some pretty cool cars back in the 80s
