GP Automotive Renewal Service - 993 Targa - Painting, PPF, Nano, and Wheel Repair

In SoCal, we're fortunate to have a pool of Porsche cars available to us that not many can ever tap into worldwide. This has allowed us to specialize in this niche and offer a service which we lovingly call "GP Certified".

These "modern classics", this 993 Targa is a prime example, are now nearing 30 years of age and taking care of them in the "old-world" way they were built, is becoming our new evolution. Restoring, enhancing, and protecting these gems, is what we strive for.

Hope you enjoy the journey this Targa went through at our "asylum".

Front-end showed many flaws such as paint chips, some poor bodywork from previous years, and paint was tired. There were enough imperfections that we felt a proper repaint was the right choice for this 911. Once panels were painted, polished to perfection, we then went into preservation mode and froze this paint in time by applying a clear film.

Custom installation on fenders and hood

Most installations have a seam at headlight washer nozzle. This installation is seamless

Bumper was a semi-custom installation, and even though pattern is computer-cut, we extend/omit portions to achieve a balance between "pre-cut" and "custom" installation

Only NEW parts from manufacturer are ever used in our installations. Most 993 washer nozzles have a rubber gasket that eventually turns into a black "goop". We opted to just replace nozzle with new ones

Wheel Repair

This was probably one of the more challenging aspects of the project. But, we never give up and research the world for options, and specializing in Porsches and having that network for almost 20 years, comes handy

Also fixed a Targa roof that wasn't operating:

Hi, Moe!

Long time lurker, 1st time posting. I have a "new" 2016 911 GTS with 10,000 miles. The previous owner kept it in excellent condition. It does have little swirls upon close inspection. I was quoted $1450 for paint correction, 2 layers of opti coat pro plus, interior coating, glass coating, wheel coating, full decontain. wash here in San Fernando Valley by Mighty Fine Auto Detail who specializes. 1st time getting this service, upon research, seems little bit high? I was expecting in the $1200 range. What do you think? I appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Love how you made it look like you "repaired" the curb rash (note the direction of the Porsche decal in the first pic vs the "after" pics and the missing portion of the wheel in the pic)...details matter ;)
