Nah, you just need to avoid certain areas. They are very hot on speeding around the Channel ports area, particularly in the Pas-de-Calais, but anywhere south or west of Paris, and you don't get bothered on the open roads. Just don't speed in built-up areas.

Oh no, not Italy - their roads AND driving standards are truely shocking. Without any doubt, Italy is THE most horrendous place I've ever been.

Germany, Austria (watch your speedo) and Switzerland are good, and I'd be very interested in some of the former Eastern-bloc countries, such as Poland, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Ukraine, Belarus, and the Baltic countries too.

No specific Euro delivery plans for now, but I am definitely in on a Europe meet for summer 2008.

I'll commit right now if someone will start planning this damn thing. I prefer Felix's original idea of Lake Como area, with maybe some Riviera and Switzerland thrown in, or possibly head south through Tuscany.

I also could help arrange tours of the Ferrari, Lamborghini and maybe Pagani factories, which would be a blast. Great food, great wine, great friends, great cars. I'm in . . .
