Breaking out of the cycle of strong starts followed by gradual disappointment requires finding somewhere where quality is built into the operational foundations rather than concentrated in the parts of the experience designed to attract new users before gradually fading once loyalty has been established. Every session I've had has added to rather than subtracted from the confidence I brought to the previous one and that consistent accumulation of positive rather than negative impressions over time is the clearest possible sign that you've found somewhere genuinely different. Hi Everone,
Newbie to the Forum, having just bought a 2010 Aston Martin Rapide my first proper performance car. I'm hoping to find out everything I can about the car to help me keep it in good condition and well maintained. I have experience of DIY Maintenance on run of the mill cars so hope that will make things easier, although I am now at an age that crawling about under a car is not really an option.

Well I went off and bought my wife her dream car. I am hopefully smart enough to know what I don't know. I am from the great state of Texas and have found that even here in DFW that this thing is still a head turner. I can't wait to have it for years and years to come. I am quite handy and mechanically inclined so this forum should help if I have any issues. 2011 Continental GTC

Introduction (a bit of a retread)

Hey everyone!
I was a 6speed online lurker back when it was formed, many years ago, but I was just getting out of Porsche ownership and focusing on other parts of my life at the time.
I've had 2 911s (1974 Targa and 1990 C4) and was very active on other Porsche forums and involved with local PCA (Raleigh, NC).

I've since moved to NJ, and currently, I'm looking into re-entering the ownership experience, but now looking at a late-model Cayenne (9YO).
I have a of of homework to do in order to find out more about the model and model-year idiosyncrasies, as well as get familiar with the regional ownership community and local service scene (i.e. good places for service, PPI, etc.) as most of my regional knowledge was in the Carolinas..
