I wouldn't do it, the F430 is one of the best cars ever. Just be patient.

eight months is a very long wait, i'd get the Gallardo for the time being

by the same token, if i had a Gallardo on order Aug delivery and saw a nice 430 (spider, at least) then i would get the spider

besides, you live in Qatar man .. with a car market like the one you guys have, there's no reason to wait for anything

Both are great choices. I've only driven the G, but can tell you that I would take a G over the 430 regardless. I love the looks, the interior, the engine sound, and the AWD.

F430 without a question for me, have driven both and the Ferrari gives me more of the driving experience I am after, quick and nimble!

I've driven both pretty extensively, and I'd have the Gallardo to keep, hands down.

That said, I wouldn't want to eat the depreciation on a new one, either. Buy a used one for the time being, you can always sell it (or not) in August.

If you ask this question in the Ferrari section nine out of 10 times the answer will be the F430. If you ask the same question in the Lambo section nine out of 10 times the answer will be the Gallardo.

Drive both and decide which one appeals to your senses more. If you're concerned about resale - buy the F430. The Gallardo will depreciate twice as fast.
