I have had negligible issues with mine. Major deal is oil changes, air cleaners, and then belt services. If something is not right, promptly attend to it. Great cars. Just know what you are buying. Early 99's and some 2000's had belt tensior issues (called variators) that needed to be changed out and some have 3 bolt ring gears that could come apart. If those were changed out you should be ok. |

Mechanically they are one of the most reliable Ferraris ever produced. |

The issue here is that if you want a well-maintained car you have to plan on spending some $. There is no such thing as inexpensive Ferrari service! |

However, 996TTDave lives in Chicago and it's doubtful he'd bring his car to Orange County for service. AND, I am certain by the time it's done even Eugenio has additional amounts to add. BTW, your link is not working. |

I started up this 360 with tubi exhaust, revved it a few times, and I fell in love... without a doubt the best sounding car I have ever heard...

I would trade my TT in, and it would be my weekend car I guess, but im still just not sure
You will not want to drive it daily. It's just not the same as a Porsche or M-B. Did you indicate the year and the transmission type? What options? Here's the link: http://emelbon.tripod.com/eugeniosferrariservice.html |
whats usually the problem for a daily drive 360? and what is the most expensive mantainance?

The car is unusual, and if I drive it daily it somewhat loses it's special nature at least for me. Getting in and out is a little tough, and you can't start it w/o going through the alarm procedure. So prompt starts are not there. It's an unusual car that draws considerable attention. Folks look and like to touch. I never park it where I cannot see it. It's very low and that's a pain sometimes. California speed bumps can be a real problem. Roads here are terrible and wheel damage is high. I have 2 X's experienced this. So, keep it special and you'll enjoy it more. |

No one questioned this!
In addition to Ferraris 3 year revenue increasing recommendation, the belt manufacturers have stated that the normal life for these type of belts is 9 years. Really? You obviously do not live in California! Belt services run $1,500.00-$2,000.00 and can be more if you need tensioners, etc. No, I live in the UK. A good independent will do the belts for under GBP 500. Clearly if other items need attending, this would be extra. Most accurate statement you have made. All of my statements are accurate. The issue here is that if you want a well-maintained car you have to plan on spending some $. There is no such thing as inexpensive Ferrari service! No, but there is fair and reasonable cost. You do not need to be gorged everytime you take a Ferrari in for service. Based on your comments, I assume you are in the auto parts or service industry. |

Your info has been great - much appreciated!
Any pictures of your car? Fewer that 30 360 cars total were painted in this color for the whole 360 production. There are 7 coupes in the US and fewer than 10 spiders. The rest are in Europe. |
