430 Spiders and 360 CS

How many real buyer's are on this board looking to get into 430 spiders or 360 CS? How is the market right now for these vehicles?

I think they are quite a few individuals on the sidelines just waiting for the "right" car or price to come along.

CS's are holding their price and if anything have slightly increased in value since the Scuderia's came out.

The market for 430 spiders has softened a bit, and will probably nose dive a bit after September.

Look on the Ferrari Market Letter for asking price values (you have to have a paid subscription), www.drautos.com (Dupont Registry), www.autotrader.com and www.cars.com

These should give you a cross sectional view.

ferrari silicon valley has a few CS, a higher mile asking $185, a lower mile asking $195. Bev Hills also had a 5000 mile car, red, with strip that was coming in, going to ask $195

CS's are holding up better than just about everything else in new ferraris right now. But I think they are softening too. I don't think the market is quite as bad as the people on ferrarichat that claim the sky is falling, but I am on the fence between buying now, and waiting a couple mos. 6 speed 430s are very soft. I was going to buy a 360, but am now thinking that this fall I may be able to get a good deal on a 430.

we'll see.

Where you looking for an 430 coupe or spider?

Don't base your decision on just price.

Evaluate both and drive both.

The 360 is a sweet car.

I'm selling my CS as I need money now to add 1800 SF and a 6 car garage on a house that I just purchased. Yes it's contradicting that I'm buying a property to build more garage spaces but hae to sell a car or two to do it. I have not advertised anywhere yet and am thinking of asking $180 to $185K. It Rosso Scuderia w/ about 9000 miles. Am I inline with asking price for a quick sale? Car is in very good shape and just had belts done last year.

I think you should list your Stradale, Rosso Scuderia w/Stripe, at $195k for a quick sale around $187k

Missed you on the 21 Stradale Run

Stripe? Pics? Seems like a very fair price to me. I may be interested. Send me some details (how many owners, service, condition, interior color, etc). Thanks,

Some of you may remember or have seen this car as I purchased it from Penske Wynn in Las Vegas last October and before I purchased it, Penske did the belt service, changed all the fluids and gave me a new battery. The car had 4200 miles at that time and I have put on a little over 5000 miles since then mainly freeway driving and going to Cars and Coffee from Los Angeles Saturday mornings and I have not tracked the car except for one autocross event at California Speedway.
Penske also did an ECU dump for me for the F1 trans and clutch wear at that point was at 25% and I have babied the car ever since w/ no hard launches whatsoever. Car is in Los Angeles, always covered in a garage.
Here're a bunch of pictures a took from three weeks ago:

Decided to sell it for $179K, firm. Please spread the word for me. Car has no accident and absolutely no story. I just need money to finish a new house, otherwise, I'd keep this car for sure.

How could the 430 be worse?

It isn't. I just think the 360 is a far better looking car. Don't you?

A.D. should drive both to evaluate.
