Phil Hill Passed Away This Am
I was just advised that the world famous Phil Hill passed away at 10:00 AM today.
What a piece of history that has passed.
I spent some good time with him that I will cherish.
My sorrows to his family.

I can tell you that he was a wonderful person.
Somewhat quiet, very unpretentious, and a great talker about politics!
His wife is a very nice person as well, and I am quite saddened for her loss.
His Parkinson's was getting very bad the past 2-3 years such that he was not able to autograph his items. It was tough to watch.
I always enjoyed talking with him. He was a true gentleman and a wonderful person.
He will be greatly missed.

a true car guy and a wonderful ambassador for the sport and the hobby. He won Le Mans 3 times, won Grand Prix races at all of the BIG ***** tracks Spa, Monza, etc and nobody ever said a bad thing about him.
