Underground Racing F430 with HRE's

Hi All,

Just thought I would share a really cool post that's up on our blog right now featuring Underground Racing's 1000hp F430. There is a video with the car racing a Gallardo Superleggera that gives you a great idea of how fast this car really is. Hope you enjoy it! UR F430

I'm just curious what these cars will do as far as acceleration in the aurter mile, etc. I did more than a bit of street and challenge track racing over the years and learned to stick with American V8s -- did well with supercharged GM LSx V8s in particular: won a lot more than I lost over the years and had a lot of fun for nearly four decades.
Even four years ago, when I finally tired of it and sold the cars, etc., it took 1200 RWHP on SCr and NOS, or more, in something like a 'vette or a viper, with low nines or high eights in the quarter (in a streetable if not comfrotable car) to really be unbeatable.
Some of those cars where pretty good in on a road course, too -- not optimized for it, maybe, but when you have that much power you just sort of point and shoot, so to speak - brutal but it worked well, and challenge races were either short street races deciding it a matter of seconds, quarter mile affairs at the track that weren't much longer, or the serious straight line standing start mile, where all the mattered was sheer power -- and frankly 1000 Hp was not competitive.
I assume these cars are more civilized and comofortable and dependable. Just curious what they do in the SS mile, etc.

Lot's of people think putting big wheels on a Ferrari is wrong.
Poppy ****!
Any and every car looks better with the right set of wheels.
This one looks pretty darn good.
Bravo!

Amen to that brotha! I'm so tired of hearing the term "bling" thrown about once someone shows their wheels.
