my advice, never paint original part something else, foil it, it's cheaper, and you will get same result, do not ruin a factory job, that's my two cents..

i thought of actually foiling the top but buddy dont forget i am in saudi foiling is risky business i once took my AM Vantage to get foiled in the most reputable place here it took them 1 week to do all the car it came out great next day in the morning the foil shrunk formed bubbles as big as a basketball when i took it back they asked for a refund and they screwed up my pain trying to remove the foil so not sure i want to go thru with that with the 458 .

Believe me you will regret painting a factory part, I think having such bad job is a problem, I can give you a number of a guy in Dubai, my brother is foiling his G55 in that place, they are doing a magnificent job, if you are following the new Aventadors popping up at Dubai in bi colore, they are the ones doing it.. just take my advice and foil rather than pain..
