classic.....the guy in the truck will also sue for injury claiming he was hit from behind.... Was just advised by a litigator friend who told me to get a camera to record in front of my car as we are targets for stuff like this ...people see a nice car and slam on the brakes...

At the time there wasn't. F double parked behind the truck. Truck backed up to make delivery. Crunch.

 

Swoop & Squats targeting high-end or high priced cars were a prevalent crime around here for a bit. Sad to say it was mostly perpetrated by illegals and foreigners. They'd pack a target car with people and run the ploy to get maximum policy payout and sue the driver.

 

I read somewhere that the owner was not the one that double parked. Rather it was someone that was responsible for the car.

Also read they got a parking ticket to add insult to injury!
