Got the F430 home today

Grigio Silverstone, Chestnut interior (not tan anyway) power Daytona seats, yellow calipers, leather headliner are rear deck, carbon fiber dash. It's a dream car to drive. The car is amazing!!!! Is there some sort of breakin mileage rule on the F430. If so how many?

That's awesome... Congrats! I can't wait see pics!

There's a break in period for every car... I would say wait atleast 2000 miles to open it up.

No such thing redline out of the dealer!

Don't worry just drive hard and enjoy it.

I have bought mine with 308miles. I doubt that previous owner care about breakin period.

Drive safe! F430 is fast.

I think that could be debated. I know many many people who will never "break in" a car. I know many many engine builders who are the same way. It's been my experience as well, those who drove it like they stole it from the start usually end up w/ quicker cars.

That said, anyone knows better then to cruise for 200 miles at a certain speed on a new motor. But to stay below say 4,000 RPM for the first 2,000 miles is retarded IMO.

I know the PICs are important. I just have had a hard time getting PICs ontp this board due to size limit of the PIC. I will take some tomorrow and try again. It's operator error on my part. I'm not that tech savy. Sorry

If anyone knows how I can improve my non-skills I would love to send picture now and in the future.

If you're running Windows XP, I highly recomend downloading this:

http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

It's the Microsoft Image Resizer Powertool, once you install it all you need to do is right click on the file you wish to resize, go to resize picture, select a size, and it creates a resized copy for you in the same folder with the same name and (size) in parantheses.
