While it does hurt to watch, I don't think—like the HP said—that there are any less of these cavallinos now... Even if this baby burned to the ground, they'd repair it good as new.

Looks to me like T1 at Monza and the front left wheel came off. Didn't get the wheel nut on right, maybe? CW |
I was wondering that too... If they could prove it, would that mean Ferrari picks up the tab? They do all the maintenance, after all.

I read over on Motor1.com that it was a "damp" track, the driver/owner overcooked it on fresh slicks and the front left wheel came off when he went over the curbing. Obviously, things got worse from there!
Certainly hate to see any bent aluminum (or fractured carbon fiber), but this car will be fine. FYI, most, if not all, 250 GTOs have had body damage. It hasn't harmed their values much! CW |
