I remember alot of 6speeders saying they were going this year. So now that we are about a month away, who is really gonna be there?
I already got tix for space afterhours, fri-pvd and sat-deep dish, also tiesto at mansion on sat.

I live here...so I will definitely be there...always some amazing shows.

yeah it lasts the whole week, ultra is on fri and sat, the outdoor thing doesnt appeal to me though.
they have crazy pool parties during the day and the clubs are great at night.

 

Winter Music Conference is basically where the best djs in the world come here to Miami to showcase their talent at our local clubs. It really is great. During the day as raffi said, there are pool parties with the huge dj names spinning and at night there are live sets played at all of the clubs. Ultrafest used to be pretty cool, but now it is very commercialized and doesn't interest most locals.

 

its a whole bunch of tourists doing rolls and getting messed up like the other half of the city that moved here because of its party scene. If you like crowds, lines, drugs and a total lack of organization....WELCOME TO WMC.

Wow...Nicolas clearly isn't into WMC...anyways...it's fun if you go to the right places...otherwise...nicolas is correct in his statements. I've lived here my whole life and I still find it fun to see the big DJs.

 

Simply you got to know where you going... It's all about connections for the right places...

I'll be going this year too. I think we're doing Set on Thursday, Friday/Sat/Sun are open, but more than likely Prive', Mansion, Nikki Beach, Mokai, Mynt will be options. Are there any other new places to go? We'll definitely be at the Shelbourne for the day parties!

 

This is the one weekend I won't go to south beach. I live in miami though so if any 6speeders want to get together...

I went with my girlfriend. We had a good time, but our friends who live in Miami didn't really seem to have too many good connections so we didn't end up doing much after UMF. South Beach was crowded, the cover for a lot of the after parties didn't seem worth it all things considered, and I guess I'm getting too old because we were tired after spending all day in the sun.

We had a good time, though. Next year I'm going to try to organize some stuff further in advance.
