It's how you use it ;) Here are a few pics of the storage/working garage cabaynes and I have. He is currently in Vegas, so he stores his beauties on the right side, while I get the left all to myself!
I've cleaned up a bit since these pictures were taken. I'll have to take some updated ones soon. My car is the silver one.

Care to spill the beans why there are so many RX-7's?

djantlive Oct 30, 2008 06:21 PM

beautiful setup and lovely FDs!

The two yellow ones are cabaynes'. Only 300 of that color were created......way less are available today, and many less are in as good of a condition as his are. I have a silver one and a black one.

For the price, you can't beat the performance. IMO it's one of the best looking sports cars, and even now some people don't believe how old it is. If you how to work on them and maintain them correctly, they are very reliable and great cars. Mazda has been discontinuing parts like crazy though, so it makes getting new/good condition parts a hassle sometimes.

I'd like to move on to different cars, but I still love the Rx-7

Wow! That is an awesome garage! What brand of lift are you using and how much does a setup like that cost, if you don't mind me asking?

McVicker Nov 4, 2008 04:17 PM

Each, lift costs around $2,500 or so shipped.

Holy crap, 3 FD's.

You lucky bastard.
