Talking Built a shop in my backyard.

The shop in my backyard is finally built. This is the first time I've ever had all of the cars in one place. I used to have four separate storage units in two different locations. That sucked, I was spending almost $1K a month for storage.

The building is 40x60x14 tall, and the outside overhang is 12x60. Both the open and enclosed trailers will park under the overhang once I'm done moving crap from storage. The Rotary 4-post lift is on a friend's trailer for now, just picked it up Saturday. I'll also get a 2-post lift and some industrial shelves to sort all those boxes, then I'll be set for now. Whew, its been a long wait!

looks very clean and neat. Was there a reason you did not just enclose everything, rather than do the overhang?

Two reasons. I prefer to have the interior wall for workbenches and shelves, and to keep costs down. The foundation doesn't have to be as beefed up for just parking my trailers on it out there, and the extra steel costs weren't necessary. It also makes it easier to back those trailers in when there is no posts or walls in the way.

Deebo, I picked up the 2010 Camaro about 2 weeks ago. Ordered in November.

Really nice job and good land use/driveway planning. Add an office, couch, plasma, bathroom and shower and you could be small country!
Really nice!
Great cars!

Best!
