Vivid Racing's Garage Project
Well it is definitely no mansion in Dubai, but when I am not at work 12 hours a day slaving to make a buck :), I have a humble home. We just started to paint and seal it today. Going to do checker tile, paint the walls, install some cabinets maybe, who knows. My STI is missing in action at the shop.
Well stay tuned as it goes :) http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../3/garage3.jpg http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../3/garage2.jpg http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../3/garage1.jpg alittle smaller then the normal daily garager! http://www.myvividracing.com/clientu..._109/_2761.jpg |

What brand of tile are you using? And where did you get them?
You're off to a great start. Definitely post up feedback after a month or two as well. |
The tiles are from Home Depot actually. Our dyno room has the black ones in it. They hold up well and they are going on my walking part of the garage. So doing them in white and black checker. See here -
http://www.myvividracing.com/clientu..._109/_2764.jpg Here is where I am at now. The single garage is finished. Shines like a MOFO. We painted 1 part of the 2 garage and going to clear it tonight. http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../IMG_1507a.jpg http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../IMG_1508a.jpg |

Ok just finished clear coating the 2nd garage. That is the only slow process. You have to paint, let it dry overnight, the clear and let it dry again. We also laid down the tile we got to see what it would look like. We tested a piece with the same floor clear and it looks great! We are going to paint the wall up to about 4 feet high. Will be finishing this next week when i get back from europe.
So far we are at $400 for paint and supplies and about $100 in floor tile. I expect once it is all said an done we will have spent about $700 - $800 total. Each night painting is only about 2 hours. The tile will probably take some time too. Enjoy! http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../IMG_1512a.jpg http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../IMG_1513a.jpg http://www.myvividracing.com/gallery.../IMG_1514a.jpg |
