While I have paid as little as $90 five years ago, current pricing is $200+ with high shipping (irregular size) to boot. I just ordered from this vendor on eBay: $129.99 + $20 shipping. I ordered yesterday and it's scheduled to be delivered tomorrow - quick. Looks like the real deal.

If you read the T&Cs of the auction it's clear the auction poster is not a native English speaker, so I'd assume this is coming from China. The language in the auction has the same types of mistakes as you typically find in 99.9% of the auctions where the items are coming from the Asian Pacific Rim.

Im sure they are replicas from China. WHo cares as long as they fit nicely. But I am really interested in fitment as it can be "questionable"

 

i had one put on the other day snap in fine. plastic is not as flexible but it works. i still like the cup lip but it gets torn up pretty quick here in the city

 

understand what u mean but that's typical stereotype of Chinese made product.

i would buy with caution but just so u know lots OEM Porsche parts are made in China. with factory quality standard of course. to be honest i wouldn't be surprised if, the OEM lip is made over there.

a quality product is a quality product regardless where it's made. the quality control is the key.

All I can say for now is, it arrived in 48 hours in the same ungainly box for only $20 shipping. The shipping is 1/3 of what I usually pay.

Despite my screen name, I've lived in Arizona for four years. It's going to hit 115 today (even more in my garage), so I'm living with my scuffed lip for a few more weeks. I just wanted to grab the new one off Ebay before it disappeared.
