Big Bird's newest mods

After a long time in the hospital the GT3 comes home. The details of the project are not complete.
The Dymags are on and the cup suspension parts are in. The car is stiff as hell. A pebble feels like a bolder but the car is razor sharp. The precision to the steering feel is amazing. The Dymags actually can allow a difference in the feel in cars response.
GT3 was not able to be dyno'ed today. It will be done next week. This is a must do issue.
Car was also lowered, corner balanced and re-aligned.
Screens look great but unbelieveably on the ride home an object hit the right front screen, damaging it and caving it in. What friggen luck!!!
Graphics add a little coemetic touch.

Enjoy the pics and more to come.

Juan
How much lowering of the car did you do? Looks like the cup front spoiler doesn't hang that much lower than the RS.

Thank God you've got the screen on absorbing that hit. Could've been something much more expensive.
Your GT3 looks great. One of the best looking out there.

930man Dec 8, 2007 07:41 AM

great job juan!!!!!!!!!!! love the dyna mags

do you have any probem with loosing air pressure ? two buds of mine had the issue but got it fixed... car looks awsome... have you had it on the track?

GT3Ranger Dec 8, 2007 08:08 AM

Hey 930man how goes it? No I haven't had any leak issues with the Dymags. The tires have been mounted for several weeks and all's well.
I just got the car back last night. The wife and I went in the RS to pick it up and diner after. In the drive something smashed into the right air duct screen and damaged it. What luck!!!
The car feels sick! Between the suspension mods, alignment and the Dymags the car feels extremely surgically precise.
Real dyno will be done this week but the "butt dyno" tells me the car feels might quick.
I like the GT3 side graphic and blacked out rear deck scoops. It came out better than anticipated.
The GT3 is pretty complete for me. Now is time to turn the attention to the GT3RS. The wife never complains but has now commented that it's getting crazy. So when she says, "look at the new 8K dining room set", all I can say is,"wow it looks great".
You got to love it.

Cheers guys,
Juan

Juan,

The car is looking great.
is Ben back at Champion?

GT3Ranger Dec 8, 2007 08:59 AM

Kevin who is Ben at Champion? Many of the guys were gone to California this week. That's why I couldn't get the car dyno'ed.

Planning to bring the GT3 to the January MiamiEuro meet and the RS.

See you soon,
Juan
