I was there at 4:00 Evan. I saw a white Turbo cab with white wheels and thought it could be your stepmom's car, but then I remembered about the black HRE's. The sales guy I talked to, one of the few nice ones, told me there are about 10 people in line for the 997S. However he wouldn't comment on the 997 Turbo. Couldn't get anyone to help me, so I bought a new Porsche shirt and left. I'll order my car somewhere else if I buy a 997S.

I went to Braman RR and saw the silver Contenential GT what a beautiful car.

We partyed at The Monkey Club Sat night and had a blast.... The pole dancing there was awesome!!!!

We should have a get together on Clematis. We could all stay at The Breakers. It would be a blast..... Anyone want to take the lead with that.

LOL That white cab was there while I was there too (actually left at like 3:45)!!! You must have been getting there when I was leaving!!! They had my car in the back lot, I guess because too many people were looking at it and they wanted to protect it (like I said their service is hard to beat ). Let me know next time you are down in the area, I am up there a lot as we are building a house in Palm Beach Gardens and I go to check it out!!

What jokers, there is this guy 2 blocks away from me that has a Carrera with a turbo front bumper, Carrera aerokit sideskirts and Tail and on his decklid he has a TURBO badge, Im waiting for the day to ask him how he likes his Turbo.
My neighbor has a 99 328is, automatic, stock 328is wheels, and and recently put an M3 badge on the back. I rolled by one day and asked, "Oh, you got an M3 eh?" He responded, "Well thats what it is." Me, "ah, cool man". I guess since I wasn't in my M3 he didn't remember we had previously spoken. I argued with him before that his 328 didn't come with M3 moldings stock and that it wasn't special. Its not so much that I care he has the badge on the back, but, the fact he can't admit its just for fun. He has to pretend its an M3.

I once got really upset with this guy who put an m3 badge on the back of his 325 and the guy was all shy and innocent like "hey man, its just for fun". I felt like a dick.

Not a Turbo or widebody, or anything but a C4, but I don't think this is ego...just innovation!

The reverse is sometimes true, too. I was at the Rolex a couple of years ago and someone left a nastygram on my 993TT berating me because it said "Turbo" on the deck lid. Seems this expert thought I had rebadged a NA car since I had an S tail on it instead of the stock one (that I always thought looked like it was melted.) (that was a great car by the way and it's now owned by a friend).

I used to work at my buddies import shop and I can't tell you how many of those fake VW fubu antennas we sold. We couldn't keep them in stock. It was watching the owner come in, pull it out of the plastic remove the double sided tape and attach it to their roof

I was curious to see when this car would come out!! LOL Actually, I think someone mentioned talking to the owner and he was honest about the whole deal (rebuilt to be like a TurboS)
From a de-badged car fan, all I can say is to all the poseurs!!!

fake tags are lame imho, but I do know that there are so many dreamers out there. I feel very grateful to own the car I have. We parked it in the driveway the other day and backdropped against the italianate colonades and 180 degree ocean view and my wife exclaimed, "I still can't believe we have such a nice car!" see my pics in the gallery. I am so stoked about the car, but can't help wondering about a 550M sitting there too.

To all who dream: work hard, be as good as you can, and never let go of your dreams.

http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...2&page=1&pp=20

I apologize for alot of the idiots on the e46 forum. Imagine having to deal w/them any time I have a question.
This should answer why I hang out here for my automotive addiction fix rather than over there. You guys are the best, most educated , have the most common sense and know the diff btw your a$$ and your elbow.

Yeah Watt, and nothing funnier than someone breaking into their cars to steal those TV's and CB's that they thought were inside.
