I dont know if its called macro or micro... but you use it if you want to take a picture of someting that is less than 1 feet away from the lense... if you dont use macro, it gets really fuzzy, and unfocoused, and with most cameras that have it, when you use it, its a lot better, but there is still a little fuzzyness, but this camera, it looks perfect... notice the picture of the porsche emblem and of the porsche lettering on the engine... I looks perfectly clear... Thats why I wanted to know what camera it was...
