Cannoli - are there a lot of Dakaras running around? I believe someone in my neighborhood back home in Rancho Santa Fe has one. Its a white CTT with the RUF 22s and yellow film on the headlamps, with RUF badging. Ill try to snap some pictures next time i see it.

RUF Auto Centre informed me that to date, only 5 Dakara conversions have been performed in the US. One is in the Bay Area, which is a Dakara 570, I have the other Dakara in California (I'm currently in Carlsbad, but I travel up and down the State). The other 3 Dakaras (all 550s) are in Texas, one of which is for sale at RAC. My Dakara was the second conversion performed by RAC.
I'm heading to Cars and Coffee in Irvine CA this Saturday with my Dakara 550. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to attend the BIG Party at RAC this weekend - most US Rufaholics will be there.
PM me the next time you are in RSF and I'll meet you for coffee et al.

Unusual spec for a CTR1. I haven't seen one before without the roll cage and the sport seats. This one's full leather and with Recaros! Must have been special ordered in this spec.
