My new GT3: Part Deux

I know I promised pics this weekend. But, as soon as I washed the car, it started raining. So, she's sittinng under a cover in the garage as we speak.

I did get one short drive in yesterday. All I can say is that this is how a 911 should drive, sound, look, etc. I have finally found automotive nirvana! I am one with the car, the road, and life in general. I have attained enlightenment! :)

But, crap, I still have a problem... Does anyone know how to get those yellow bug stains out of a clear bra? I ran into a massive bug storm on the way home with the car and while the bugs came off, the yellow stains are somehow not coming out of the bra...

Some bugs leave nasty stains on the clearbra. Don't worry about them, they will quickly fade.

Cool. These were some nasty ones too. It's like I must have run into a cloud of locusts or something. Only it was too dark to actually see what the heck happened until the next morning.

Donn,
best I found for removing bug stains from clear bra is to use some alcohol/water mixture (50/50)....

Should've ordered a bug-yellow color for your GT3. No more hassle :D

Me think you're right. GT3 is what a proper porsche, or sportscar, like a 360, should be. TT/GT2 are just german muscle cars.

racer63 09-20-2004 05:47 AM

I may give that a try. 50-50 shouldn't be much of a problem. Not too harsh.

You need to add a layer of RejeX to your paint and Bra to avoid this problem. www.rejexusa.com :)

collin996tt 09-20-2004 12:22 PM

You should sell rejex for humans to reject insects and uv rays :D

Try 3M cleaner, pick it at any hardware store
