Anyone know what the total production of 997 Gt3's is thus far? Am I correct in that they were produced in 07 and 08 with updated model coming later in 09??

 

About 950 GT3s and 450 RS. Produced in 07 and 08 only (from about Feb 07 to Mar 08). That's the US number only. I think rest of world is about the same.

The exact US figures are 916 GT3s and 413 RSs.

I don't have exact figures for ROW.

Alex - that works out to just under 10% of the global 997 GT3/RS population running your pipes. Now, for any company to be able to claim a 10% global market share for any product - that is serious market penetration. Tells you something about how good your product is (or that you are selling them too cheaply which I know is not the case as I for one have had to fork out hard earned $$ for one).

In US in 2008, among all variants of 911 (except GT3 and RS), there were approx 11,500 sold. In just 2008.

2800 Turbos and 800 Turbo cabs in 2008 alone.

Majority of GT3 and RS were in 2007. About 80% of them.
