Do you know if all the teams in AMLS will switch to 2010 Cup cars and RSR ? I noted that in Grand-Am in Daytona, the 2009 Cup cars were still present. Also, PCA Club Racing rules were amended to include a new class (GTC5) for the 2010 Cup cars (2009 Cup is GTC4) because the changes made to the car were judged as a too important.
|
u sure that's a 2010? tail lights housing looks the same shape as the 09. wouldn't the 2010 rsr have the led's?

Grand-Am does not allow the 2010 cup, so there is no 2010 Grand Am version. ALMS GT3 cup will have classes for the 2010 and the '09 and earlier cars. ALMS GTC will allow almost ANY GT3 cup, with ballast and restrictors, even the Grand-Am cars so that will be interesting.
Doesn't sound as a strong support to the new race cars from the base... is there a controversy around the new developments on the Cup cars in North America and Europe ? |
Thanks for this nice info !
