Can't find diecast 1:18 model of '07 white GT3
 

I've got a quality 1:18 diecast model for each of my sports cars for the last 15 years and would love one for my white '07 997.1 GT3.

Autoart has a model 77998 that would fit the bill pretty well but apparently it's been discontinued. I've been checking google, ebay and craigslist across the country for new or used ones that are in stock but have had no luck.

Anyone have any suggestions on where to search to find someone selling one? Or maybe someone here has one they'd part with.

I put a call into a local shop that sells them, I will know tomorrow if they can get one.

So far I have found a yellow and a red one locally, but no white.

I've been toying with the idea of getting a 1:18 garage of all my 911s. The only problem is that the 997 models all have the lobster claw wheels and my 1:1 model has the sport classics (the multispoke) wheels.

Here's a place that I've been buying from. They say they have 92 of these in stock. A bit pricey but it's from AutoArt so expect quality. I just picked up my wife's BMW 7series there. Make sure you get the 1/18 size, not the 1/24 or 1/43!

Man, I just totally brain-farted and order this without out realizing it was silver and not white. Hopefully i can cancel it tomorrow. Thanks for the lead though. Maybe they'll have a white one as well.

I'm sorry, I also thought it was white!!! I just looked at the picture too. Oh well, let me know through PM if you can't cancel it. I'll try take to take it off your hands... I'd try to take email them ASAP via their channels also instead of just relying on phone calls. Maybe I should just butt out and mine my own business:(

HELL NO, I wouldn't do that!!! Crazy cool of you to offer but that's totally unnecessary. I should've been a little more careful looking at the picture AND description before charging forward.

My wife actually caught the mistake when I was showing her I found one. Not the first mistake of mine she's ever caught either. ;) Probably not the last.

I've already emailed them and if they can't change or cancel it I'll take the car. At least it's the right model. Once (if) I find a white one the silver one will make a good toy for my nephew.
