Ok, here are the only other two I have and you can see why I was hesitant to post them

I saw that car last week as well. I was chatting with a salesman and he told me he had something I probably had never seen. He was right. There was also a 997.2 GT3RS getting cleaned up for delivery.

Where is the licence plate from.

I think the salesman said the owner was from Saudi Arabia, but I could be mistaken.

Apparently the car has 500 KILOMETERS on it and it's an '88 I believe. Belonged to a guy who was doing the Gumball Rally and broke down. Boardwalk help him out and he decided to ship his car there to get it back in drivable condition.

They had a beautiful white/red GT3RS getting a roll bar and harnesses while I was there as well.

Saudi Arabia it is..

Nice.

It is certainly a Saudi plate. Do you know where he broke down? I did the Gumball last week but didn't see him on the starting grid in London.

He broke down in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas during either last years Gumball or the previous year. He wasn't in the 959 though.

mjnsx07 May 27, 2010 06:42 PM

omg, it is the 959

I was also at the start and didn't see it there.

What car did you do it in? There were some very nice cars around!

I was going to take my GT3 but thought that 3000 miles in 7 days would be a bit tough on the butt. So instead I took an Aston DB9 which was a lot more comfortable for a tour like this.
