I just put a deposit on an 07 GT3. Yellow, of course :D

4k miles. CPO'd. Full leather, deviated stitching throughout, PCM, Sport Chrono, Sound Package Plus, clear bra, blah blah blah.

Everything but ceramics. Which I didn't want anyway since I'm going to hammer this thing on the track :)

I won't be taking delivery for at least a week or two. Pics will follow!

just let me drive it for you 1st on track so i can show you what it can do...lol

Congrats! I love yellow porsches... except I just don't have the balls to actually order one in that color. Guards red is about as in your face as I'd dare to go. Enjoy it!

Great choice! I just picked up an 07' GT3 in Guards Red! The car is so much fun on the track! You'll love it! There's a yellow one for sale at RUF/RAC by my house in Dallas, TX. The yellow in a gt3 looks awesome!!

Thanks guys. It was actually in the mid west. I'm traveling a bit but I'm hoping to pick it up in the next 10 days or so.

This will be my 3rd yellow Porsche. I have a sickness :D

Although they go nicely with the yellow house and boat.

Like I said, I have some sort of weird thing with yellow. Maybe I should see someone about this :)

I was negotiating with them a bit. Nice people. A little slow on the responses, but good guys all the way around. At the end of the day, the mileage was a little high and so was the price for what it was. Not to mention it had GT3 seat from a 996 which looked a strange in a 997.

Nope, the cabby will be going to a new home. I was having it detailed yesterday and actually started getting a little sentimental when the guy was driving it around the lot... I'm sure I'll get over it once I get the GT3 on the track :)

Congrats and you're going to love it. Very different experience from where you're coming.
Less power but the track enjoyment is outstanding. You can really wring that boy out on the track. I could never do the same in a turbo.
Gonna love 8000 plus rpm's. :D
