Happy Father's Day
To all the dads out there who bust their a$$ to work hard, provide and keep it together in good and bad times.
To be there and be a rock for those that love and count on you. Happy Father's Day to all of us! Ranger |
Father's Day joke:
Guy asks his buddy "So what did the wife give you for Father's Day?" "Same thing as last year, a shirt and a piece of ass". "How'd you like them?" "They were both too big". :D |
Amen Ranger. As you can see from other posts I bust my ass to provide. Luckily doing high quality work and treating patients the right way has allowed me to provide myself with a new GT3. Happy Fathers Day bro.

Unfortunately not for long under this POS Obama and his Obamacare destruction of healthcare.
We're fuked. I forbid my sons to consider medicine. Ranger |
Endodontist here, so basically fee for service no insurance. My practice is unaffected by healthcare. My other doctor buddies certainly wont be sending Obama a holiday card!

Smart career choice. Good for you.
Ranger |
It was a very smart choice. But, I have a hard time when my MD friends are really struggling and they are saving people's life not teeth! Life is all about prospective.
|
I hear ya.
Get called in at 2, 3 or 4 am (never fails) because a patient has a cold pulseless leg. You come in do the angio, find the clot, perform thrombolysis, plasty and endovascular stent. Save their leg and get paid maybe $2,500 in about 3 months. I don't know sounds like a deal to me. Anyway happy Father's Day. Maybe will see you at the track. Ranger |
See thats the stuff that is just flat out UNFAIR. What price should you be paid. If I had to put a price on my leg, it's be over 100k. Managed care has just killed you guys mainly b/c the AMA didnt do squat to prevent things. Thank god, so far, the ADA has really prevented this from being so pervasive, especially with specialists like me.

Don't feel bad Ranger.
Guy came in with chest pain. Took a history, focused physical, diagnosed angina, gave nitro sprays, chewed some aspirin, arranged ambulance, transported to ER, spent 30 minutes, got paid $30......but I feel good! I'm still encouraging my daughters to be doctors if they want to. Reason: there is always work, nobody can fire us, job satisfaction. Happy Father's day to you and us. |
Happy fathers day!
